Maltings Fabrics started out as a collaboration between Hatley Print and Darcy Clothing. When the two businesses shared The Maltings building in Lewes they decided then to establish a site selling period fabrics by the metre.
Our aim is to supply costume professionals with authentic printed fabrics that are becoming increasingly difficult to source. Anyone with an interest in vintage textiles is welcome to order and share in this great source of prints.

Over 25 years in the industry
Hatley Print run a highly specialised business using digital printing to supply bespoke printed fabrics for costume & production designers. Recognising the demand for authentic early C20th prints, Louise and Dan have put together a collection of original garments and used them as the basis for their authentic fabric designs, again ensuring historical accuracy. The prints offered by Maltings Fabrics are available immediately without the need for extensive artwork research and associated costs.
